Parent and School Council Information

Livingstone Parent’s Association (LPA): What We Do & How You Can Help!

The LPA is a vibrant and welcoming group that offers parents and caregivers a
meaningful way to get involved in the Livingstone school community. Through a variety
of fundraising activities, we’re able to support the success of our students and school
programs.
Each year, we proudly contribute to both Athletic and Academic awards. In the past, our
efforts have helped fund a cart of much-needed Chromebooks, new library books, art
supplies, and—yes—those delicious hot lunches (that was us!).
Unfortunately, this past year saw a drop in volunteer participation, which meant fewer
hot lunches and limited fundraising. That’s where you come in! Whether it’s handing out
a hot lunch or helping prep one, even volunteering for just one task during the year
makes a big difference. Many hands truly make light work.

Livingstone School Council (LSC): Your Voice Matters
Want to have a say in what happens at school? The LSC is the place to be heard. LPA
and LSC meetings are held back-to-back once a month, and you’re welcome to attend
in person or virtually via a link sent out beforehand.
If you’d prefer to stay in the loop without attending, just send your email address to
Anneret de Beer at anneretdebeer@gmail.com to receive the monthly meeting minutes.
